It’s a cool, clear September morning. A hint of fall is in the air even though, technically, we have few more weeks of summer left. Whether you’re directly affected by school schedules or not, it seems like this time of year naturally invites us to settle into a new, grounding routine after the excitement and delightful chaos of summer is over.
At Main Street Yoga, we have full slate of classes and workshops that can help you make the transition from summer to autumn as easeful and as nourishing as possible. On our weekly schedule, you’ll find familiar favorites alongside new opportunities for growth. I’m especially excited about the return of “Chair Yoga” with Erin (on Saturday mornings at 10:45) and the addition of two new classes and teachers: “Qigong for the Seasons” with Jasmine and “Kriya Yoga Meditation” with Ryan. Ryan and Jasmine are teaming up on Thursday evenings to offer a special discount if you attend these two back-to-back classes. You may also attend each one separately and/or use your existing class package when you register.
In addition to our weekly classes, we have a plethora of workshops and special events for you to choose from, including:
· Breathe: An Introduction to Pranayama with Angela* on Sunday, September 3rd
· Yoga and CBD with Carrie on Friday, September 8th
· Yoga for Easing Chronic Pain with Carrie on Sunday September 10th
· A Healing Immersion with Lauri on Sunday September 10th
· A Donation-Based Class with Gracie on Friday, September 15th
· Kitten Yoga with Erin on Saturday, September 16th
· Meditation for Yoga Teachers and Students with Angela* on Sunday, September 17th
*Angela is a registered Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP). Her workshops offer continuing education credit for yoga teachers registered with Yoga Alliance.
As a reminder, Main Street Yoga has moved! We are now located at 200 Fairmont Avenue. The entrance for MSY is at the rear of the building on the right side of the loading dock - there is a sign beside the door. Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before class starts in order to give yourself plenty of time to park and check in. Free parking is always available on 2nd Street and Gaston Avenue. You may also use the parking lot behind the building if spaces are available.
One final note to any yoga teachers out there – Main Street Yoga now offers 300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training approved by Yoga Alliance. Advanced YTT begins October 7th! The deadline to apply is October 1st, and there is a discount on tuition if you pay in full by that date. Payment plans are also available.
As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions you might have. The best way to reach us is via email at mainstreetyogafmt@gmail.com.
Have a fantastic holiday weekend! We look forward to seeing you at the studio this month.
