It's Memorial Day! The unofficial start of summer. Summer always brings some changes at the studio, and this one is no different. Keep an eye on our calendar and registration page. Next week we'll add two new morning classes to accommodate changing schedules for students, teachers, and school personnel!
The most exciting thing for us yoga teachers is that we're starting to see a return to normalcy at the studio - some of our favorite students have returned after long absences; brand new students are showing up; and one of your favorite teachers, Jennifer Toth, is back on the schedule offering a weekly class on Friday evenings as well as some workshops!!
With these encouraging signs, we've made the decision to stop live-streaming our classes. (The increase in our internet bill really sealed the deal.) While we loved having the ability to support those of you who were unable to come to the studio during the pandemic, it seems the tide has turned and the overwhelming majority of our students are ready to get back to practicing in the serenity of the studio with the support of our amazing yoga community. And that makes us VERY happy!
If you have an existing, valid, online-only class package, it has been updated to include our regularly-scheduled in-studio classes. If you are still unable to return to classes at the studio, I highly recommend Wild Yogi Online Studio offered by Fairmont resident Jessica Stidham (you might recognize her from her "Yinyasa" classes at MSY). Jessica offers a monthly subscription that includes access to a full library of online classes ranging from 20-60 minutes. There's even a free 7-day trial so you can check it out risk free!
As always, we are eternally grateful for your continued support. Many yoga studios did not survive the pandemic, but YOU made it possible for us to continuing doing what we love most - serving you with teachings of yoga.
