Flow and Fascia

Fascia is a fibrous tissue that ‘connects’ every cell in our body. This connective tissue forms a three-dimensional web of our body, extending from our head to our toes. Fascia surrounds and infuses every muscle, muscle fibre, bone, blood vessel, nerve and organ in our body. It also directly affects our body systems like our muscular and neurological systems.

When we have a restriction in our body, our fascia becomes dehydrated, stiff, weak and stuck.

But happy fascia is fluid, springy, and strong. When we move, happy fascia will return the force we emit right back at us, making us feel lighter and softer. We will need to use less energy to do things and our muscles and body will move with greater efficiency.

So let's make our fascia happy! Let's have some fun with fascia!

The "Flow and Fascia" series with Alesia will profoundly hydrate the tissues throughout your body, release physical pain, mental stress, and help restore mobility and ease.

Each class will offer a gentle yoga flow (suitable for beginners), self massage, yin yoga, and restorative yoga. The classes will focus on areas of the body where dense fascia can limit ease of movement and range of motion.

  • Class #1: Head,neck, and shoulders

  • Class #2: Back and hips

  • Class #3: Legs, ankles, and feet

No previous yoga experience necessary! Come learn the techniques so you can practice them at home!

Space is limited, so register early. If you register on or before February 1st, use the coupon code FASCIA to get a $10 discount on the fee.
