How long do your new year’s resolutions stick? Join us and learn about the emotional blockages that may be keeping you from making lasting change. Together we will explore emotions in the body, how they are released, conscious vs subconscious parts of the brain/body and the importance of bridging the two, and important holistic health practices.
These sessions are for those wanting to take charge of their habits, embrace feeling their emotions and ready to do the hard work on their journey of wellness. Each experiential learning session includes:
Body Scan and Feelings Check-in – This will help in becoming more aware of your body and identify where an emotion may be stored.
Experiential activities – These promote connection of right (feeling) and left (thinking) hemispheres in your brain. Come explore other parts of yourself you didn’t know were there. You may be surprised by what you learn.
Guided Meditation and Imagery – These guide you into the deeper parts of yourself and help to reveal healthier strategies to implement into your life now.
Teachings – Through holistic health teachings, you will learn more about mind body medicine and how the mind, body, heart and soul are all interconnected.
The 2-hour sessions will run each Sunday for four consecutive weeks starting January 12 from 1-3pm. We will meet on January 12, 19, 26, and February 2, from 1-3 pm. Only 12 spots will be available. The cost is only $97 for all four sessions!
Angela’s somatic yoga class will be just prior to the workshop and may be helpful in priming you for our session. Although it is not a requirement, it may help you go deeper with the process.
