Solstice Yin and Yoga Nidra

On the first full day of winter, take time to release tension from the body and mind with a perfect pairing: yin yoga and yoga nidra.

Practice begins with pranayama (breathing practices) before transitioning to gentle yin yoga postures. Yin Yoga is a meditative style that involves holding postures for longer periods of time at lower loads. It is known to reduce stress and cultivate emotional balance. After yin works its magic, we'll settle into our "nest" for a Yoga Nidra practice. Yoga Nidra is an extended guided meditation known for its ability to promote deep relaxation and higher levels of awareness.

No experience is necessary. Beginners are welcome and encouraged to attend!
