Whether mild or severe, back pain is no joke. It's one of the leading reasons doctors prescribe pain medication. But NSAIDS and opioid derivatives affect the entire body without fixing the underlying cause.
Possible causes of low back pain can include physical trauma, emotional trauma, chemical imbalance, and the accumulation of toxins in the liver and kidneys (which, ironically, can be caused by pain medications).
But the more common causes of back pain - stress, sitting too much, and poor posture - can be addressed relatively quickly and very effectively with a yoga practice designed to relax certain muscles and engage others.
In this workshop, you'll learn a beginner-friendly yoga sequence that you can use to relieve current low back pain while working toward resolving the issues that contribute to it - and you'll take home a printed diagram of the sequence so that you can easily practice it at home on your own.
