If you've ever wished you could go back to a time when you were little and someone read you a bedtime story before you drifted off to sleep, this is your class: 90 minutes of restorative yoga while Angela reads (part) of the story of the Bhagavad Gita.
The "Gita" as it is affectionately called, is just a small part of very long ancient yogic text that tells the story of two warring clans. The Gita describes the dilemma faced by its hero, Arjuna. Arjuna is a great warrior and leader of one of the clans who has a crises of conscience when he sees members of his family on both sides of the battlefield and realizes he has no desire to fight or kill his enemies. The counsel he receives from his charioteer (who just happens to be the Hindu deity Krishna) provides insight far beyond Arjuna's dilemma, giving us all insight into how we should LIVE.
